Brief Description: Drilled out bad rivets and used new Tungsten bucki
The tungsten bucking bar arrived from the Webster Tool Aircraft and Supply company. I drilled out 2 of the rivets from the vertical stab skin/rear spar on one side of the middle hinge bracket. I used the new bucking bar and riveted, It worked great because I could get close enough due to the bar having a 10 degree bevel on one end. The bar is very small (4"x1"x5/8") but very heavy and dense for its size.
Drilled out 2 bad rivets from VS skin close to the middle hinge bracket.
Used tungsten bucking bar to set the 4 rivets on both sides of the hinge bracket.
Pop riveted the middle VS-707 rib to rear spar using 3 LP4-3 blind rivet.
