Brief Description:  Inventoried ordered tools then tried riveting the

My tools that I ordered from Cleaveland Aircraft Tool came in today, so I inventoried and found the small tube bender on back order. I set up my drill with the quick change chuck and my bits with the adaters. New tools always make me feel good until I try to use them. That's when reality sets in and I hope they (me) do the job I think they should do. The manual squeezer worked great until I got to the area of the rear spar where the doubler was riveted. Those rivets held the tip of the C yoke off far enough so that I could not get a good squeeze when close to the hinge brackets. Charlotte and I tried the rivet gun and bucking, but the bucking bar had too much chamfer to get close enough. We messed up two rivets. I decided that I may have to grind down the tip of the C yoke to get closer or order a small tungsten bucking bar. I ordered the bar from buckingbar.net for $120. Hope it will work.

Riveted all rivets using the "Main Squeeze" manual squeezer except for two rivets next to the middle hinge bracket.
Tried rivet gun and cast bucking bar with lousy results for those two rivets. Will drill out and try the tungsten bar when it arrives.
