Brief Description:  Set up and primed Vertical Stabilizer Components

I had to wait until about noon to get the shade from the trees before priming the VS components on the driveway. I mixed the Sherwin-Williams P60G2 wash primer 1 part to 1 1/2 parts reducer. Poured 12 oz. of the mixture into the Harbor Freight HVLP gun cup and tried to prime the coupler. I really messed up the doubler and had to remove the primer with lacquer thinner. My practice spray on cardboard didn't work on the doubler. Readjusted the spayer to 30 psi and increased the flow of primer. Worked ok using about 3 coats with about 3 minutes dry time between coats. It was 85 degrees outside and approaching 90 degrees before I finished. It all seemed to work out OK, I guress.

Sprayed the rear and front spars and doubler.
Sprayed the ribs.
Sprayed the skin.
