Brief Description: Continued prepping Horizontal Stabilize.
With the Horizontal stabilizer clecoed together, I reamed out the holes to final size.
I then disassembled the HS. I deburred all the holes on the frame components and skin. I scuffed all components and the interior of the skin in preparation for priming. Charlotte and I dimpled the skin on the DRDT-2 dimpler. I also used the hand squeezer (Tacto) to dimple the smaller components that would not fit the DRDT-2 dimpler. I even had to use the Vise-grip dimpler at times.
This took all day and then some more the next day. Oh, such a steep learning curve! If not for my instructors, Jacob Biang and Mike Crowe, I would be making plenty of errors and problably reordering parts.
