Brief Description: Sanded fairing & connected elevator push rod.
After curing the glass beads overnight, I removed the empennage fairing and sanded the areas smooth. Later I'll touch up a couple of small areas, but on to something else.
We connected the elevator push rod to the elevator horns. The other end was connected to the elevator bellcrank. We torqued the bolts and marked with torque lacquer hoping we won't have to remove it later for some reason. I'll connect the bellcrank to the AP pitch servo tomorrow.
After connecting the push rod to the elevator horns, we realized we had not yet riveted the nutplates for the inspection plates. It would have beem much easier without the elevator horns and push rod in the way, dummy me!
