Brief Description: Finished drilling wing wiring holes and cut ailero
The tools ordered from Avery Tools came in today, so we finished drilling the last four holes through the walk-on ribs. After deburring the holes we easily slipped the poly tubing through each wing from the tip to the root. We will later RTV each hole to hold the tubes stationary. I may even tie the tube to lightening holes per Van's construction letter. I'll wait to see how well the RTV works.
I referred to Dwg. 15A to cut the aileron tubes from the bellcrank to the ailerons and from the bellcrank to the controls in the fuselage. I rounded up the rod end bearing and fittings and will drill the fastener holes before I prime the insides of the tubes, Will be out of town for the next five days.
