Brief Description: Started constructing Wing Cradle while waiting for
Made a trip to The Home Depot to buy 2x4s and construction screws to start building the Wing Cradle while waiting for my QB wings and fuselage to be delivered. I had some 3/4" MDF left over from the construction of my two EAA workbenches. I used my circular saw and band saw to cut the MDF and 2x4s.
Cut 3/4" MDF into 2'x3' end plates for cradle. Screwed two 3' 2x4s to bottom of plates. Cut 2x4 to 7' 71/2" for connecting member. Cut 45 degree pieces for triangular supports. Screwed it all together with construction screws using my Makita cordless drill.
Must wait for delivery of the wings to draw the contour of lthe eading edges and the width of the main spars before I can cut the end plates.
