Brief Description:  Installing cowling with the prop installed.

After installing the prop and spinner, I quickly realized that installing the cowl would take some trimming. The lower cowl needed to be trimmed slightly at the left and right aft edge of the inlets. The spinner/bulkhead allows only 1/4" foreward/aft movement to install the cowling. The top cowl will need the most trimming along with trimming the plenum. The iterative process seems to be the only way to measure, i.e., cut then fit, cut then fit, etc. It may take a dozen on and offs of the cowl to finally get the inlets and plenum cut to the right dimensions to easily install the cowling. As seen in the photos, the inlet is on top of the plenum which should be the other way around, i.e., the plenum on top the inlet. Just another annoying and time consuming process, but I'll get'r done. That 1/4" fore/aft movement of the cowling against the spinner bulkhead is not much space to work with, but it will work out.

I'll get to the hangar early tomorrow to beat the 105 degree deadly heat and leave early. Hopefully, I'll have it done by noon.
