Brief Description: Parking brake lever & wing root fairing.
Today I fabricated a handle to actuate the parking valve located in the tunnel ahead of the AFP fuel boost pump. The handle was made from a piece of aluminum tube and attached to the brake valve lever using an "L" shaped piece of aluminum. The handle snaps into a spring clamp made from a modified peg board tool clamp to keep it from moving.
I also completed the interference fuselage-to-gear leg fairings by match drilling the the fourth hole in the fiberglass fairing into the wing root fairing. I added a nut plate to the wing root fairing which will hold the fiberglass fairing with the other three nutplates in the fuselage bottom skin.
