Brief Description:  Bled the brakes & removed windshield protection.

Today Charlotte and I decided it was time to charge the brake system. We used Royco synthetic brake fluid which has a high temp flash point. We used a pint oil squirt can with a clear tube attached using a zip tie. We filled from the bottom brake bleed ports on the left and right brakes until there were no air bubbles apparent in a glass jar that caught the overflow from the reservoir. I then jumped into the cockpit to pump the brakes and found a fitting leaking on the right brake on the copilot's side. I tried tightening to no avail and then removed it to put new sealant on the threads. Still no go, so I removed it again and used Teflon tape and Bingo, no leak. Not too bad so far, but we'll check it tomorrow.

We then removed all the plastic, paper, and tape from the windshield and had a look at the fruits of our work. The layups look pretty nice, even if I have to say so myself!!
