Brief Description:  Glassed the wheel pant intersection f

Charlotte was determined to neatly glass the edges of the intersection fairings to the wheel pants. She drew out the 1" strips onto some 2 mil clear plastic and then sandwiched the glass cloth between the two sheets of plastic after wetting the cloth with the epoxy mixture. Using a rotary blade cutter she cut the strips of plastic and cloth. With the pants on the workbench she removed the top piece of plastic and placed the strip onto the edge of the fairing, and then removed the other piece of plastic. This was followed with another strip and then covered with peel ply.

Much easier and a lot less messy to handle. This method prevented the cloth from separating with loose strands of glass.
