Brief Description: Riveted #4 baffle and then went flying.
Today John and I went to the hangar and riveted the #4 aft and oil cooler baffles together. Since I had modifed the oil cooler baffle for a larger oil cooler, it could not be riveted to the aft baffle with a hand or pneumatic squeezer, therefore, we used the rivet gun and bucking bar.
We then blew off work and went flying! I got about 1.5 hours of flying time. I logged one takeoff and two landings. It was great to be in the air after almost 9 years of not flying. Six of those years have been spent working on the RV-7A. I can't wait until I'm finished, but I guess I'll have to wait.
