Brief Description: Set up shop in the hangar.
It took a week to transfer my tools and supplies to the hangar. Of course, I had to buy a new tool chest and some other stuff that I didn't want to take from the garage at home. I used a 2'x4'x8' plywood box in which my canopy plexiglass and other stuff had been delivered, and made it into a large tool box and storage space. I bought some free standing shelves and attached peg board to hold rivets, etc.
The only problem I have is that there is only one electrical receptacle and it is over a hundred feet from the circuit breaker box that has only 15 amp circuit breakers. Everything runs except my 1 hp compressor. I have to let all the air out before it will start and then it stalls out at 85 psi at which time I have to pull out the plug from the receptacle. Good thing I don't have much drilling and riveting to do, although, it will take some air to rivet on the nose skin. I may try to ge the city to put in at least a 20 amp cb for my hangar. I doubt they will do it!
