Brief Description:  Moved fuselage to a hangar at KGTU in Georgetown,

Today we moved the fuselage to a hangar at KGTU airport in Georgetown, Texas. After failing to find a trailer wide enough that I could pull with my Ford F250 pickup, I finally called a wrecker service that came out with a tilt bed heavy duty wrecker truck. I asked the driver if he had ever hauled an airplane before today. He said," Yes, but they had all been crashed before he hauled it." He told me to rachet the straps to the final tightness. My brother and I followed the truck for 31 miles to the airport down I-35 from Austin to Georgetown at 55 mph max. We encountered no problems. He charged me $225, but I don't think I could have rented a rig with all the hassel for that little money.

I had previously hauled the wings and empenage to the hangar in the 8' bed of my pickup. Now a week of transfering my shop to the hangar!!
