Brief Description: Installed new Matco nose wheel axle.
After reading the VAF forum about so many problems with the nose wheel, I ordered a new axle from Matco. It is a one piece axle that holds the bearings and has a screw on the end that holds the seals constant without moving and keeps a constant preload. The preload is held constant by a bolt in the screw end that fits into a notch in the axle. This should be much better than the two ends that Van's uses which are subject to varying preloads and all the problems associated.
