Brief Description: Repositioned fuselage for wing attachment.
To attach the wings in our 2 car garage, I needed help to move the fuselage close to the garage door and parallel to it. My lawn service guys came this morning and I enlisted their help to move the fuselage. I used saw horses to support the fuselage for wing attachment. The plan is to attach the left wing in the garage and the right wing will be half out of the garage. I'll put on both wings on a good weather day and check for sweep and perpendicularity by triangluation measurements and use four plump bobs and a string. I'll drill the rear spars after setting the 1 degree angle of incidence by using the digital level.
Once the rear wing spars are drilled, we'll remove the right wing and put it back in the cradle. I'll then close the door and finish all the left wing jobs. That includes the fuel tank attach bracket, the fuel line attach, the vent line attach, the flap actuator attach, and the wing root fairing attach. When complete, eveything will be removed and we'll switch wings after moving the fuselage further into the garage and complete the right wing jobs.
