Today I resealed the right wing tank with the new screened fuel pickup tube which was safety-wired to the antirotation flange.
I then acquired a can of olives from the pantry to use as a Aveo landing light to help in designing a mount for the Aveo 6-in-1 setup. I traced the cutout onto some engineering paper to get measurements. I then put the measurements into TurboCad and printed out a grid for the cutout. The olive can was laid on a 1/2" piece of plywood to simulate some offset from the cutout panel that is parallel to the rib. I'm hoping to come up with a simple method of mouting the lights. I can see it will take some effort. Well, I'll work on it after we get back from a two week river cruise vacation to Russia.

10 degree nose down angle just touching the lens.
Straight ahead. A hole will be cut into the angled cutout panel.
