Brief Description:  Intercom wiring diagram and research.

I spent about two months researching on the internet about how to wire the Sigtronics Sport 200S intercom to the Dynon EFIS's, HS34, AP74, GPS496, and the Infinity stick grip. Of course, a trip to Florida for a week to visit my daughter's family for Thanksgiving didn't help the project. Next came preparing for a Christmas visit by my wife's family from Virginia which included shopping and cleaning out our airplane-parts bedroom. My garage was packed with parts to the point that I couldn't move my plane or even get to it when Charlotte's car was parked in there. The Christmas dinner was prepared for 17 people! I did get two or three short days of work on the wiring just before Christmas!

The main sticking point on the intercom wiring was how to wire the HS34 with its alerts, and the GPS496 with its alerts. I should have purchased an audio panel which would have had more inputs. Oh well, coulda, shoulda, woulda!! I finally decided with help from emails and the internet, that I would wire the HS34 and 496 inputs through the music input jack of the intercom. It automatically gives a muting function when I am talking on the com radio. This will cut down on the distraction of the alerts which the Dynon visually displays on the EFIS screen anyway. The wiring diagram has been revised about a dozen times, but now I think its time to wire even as I make ongoing revisions.
