Brief Description: complete molex connect on pitch trim and started r
Finished up installing molex pins on elevator trim. Instaled male and female pins into the molex bodys and snap together. Pulled up slack and wraped spiral wrap on portion of the wire bundle that goes over edge of rear spar. I will be installing a cushion clamp on spar flange probably sharing the same hole used by the ELT antenna. This will keep wire off the flange edge. I still havent decided how to secure the molex body to the deck. I tested operation of the motor again with 9v battery up front at other end and it works. Yay!
Removed the aileron trim servo. Prep wires again for dsub pins and crimp as before., I then cut a length of 5 wire bundle that shoulkd reach a common terminal area, crimped on the female pins. Shrink wrap the pins together. I forgot to install a bigger piece of shrink tube before doing the smaller pins first and so cant install that. Instead I just used some self fuse tape to tie them all together. Drilled #3 hole in side of mount, install the grommet and ran the other end of wire thru. installed the servo back in mount.
