Brief Description:  PARKING BRAKE-1

I purchased the Matco PVPV-1/D valve from Van's awhile back and decided to start on it today. The old bracket hed to be removed so drilled out those rivits.
Cut out a new bracket from some 040 aluminum and marked to holes 3/4 inch apart and drilled them with unibit to 13/32" so that the valve AN fittings will fit thru.
I then attached the valve to the bracket and put some temp nuts on to hold it in place. Taped this asembly to the bulkhead so that the top of valve is flush with the baggage floor and centered over the old rivit holes. Removed the floor and marked the holes in bracket. Removed and drilled to #30 and dimpled. Clecoed in place. The idea is to secure it to the baggage floor so that it is sturdy. I will need to fab a bracket to lock the valve lever in various positions. I also need to redo my brake lines as they will nolonger fit right. This particular way of mounting does not allow the use of 90 degree fittings and so the brake line will need a couple more bends. I might buy a couple of 45 degree fittings and see.
