Arrived this morning and studied instructions and plans for the flaps. Since the flaps are done as part of the quick build kit, I only had to verify all steps were completed and that they look corect.
Started the flap brace preperation by marking the flange on the inboard ends to be cut so that they clear another stiffner on the rear wing spar. After marking, I cut along the line with a die grinder with cutting wheel. Smoothed the edge down to the line and then polished the edge on scotch brite wheel. I then cleaned the edges and polished all the edges on the flap braces in the same manner. Also polished up the edges of all the lightening holes in the flap braces
