I ordered and recieved my 40 plate nuts to be used to finish the other half of the installation. Same procedures followed as before but went a bit faster this round. Now as seen in pic one, its a bunch of plate nuts! Photo two shows the counter sunk rivits holding plate nuts in place as well as the countersunk screw hole which accomodates the dimpled wing skin.
Photo 3 shows the planned reflective backing for the position/strobe light. Used 0.020 aluminum I had and bent to 110 degrees on my handy metal brake from harbor freight. I held in place and traced the cut out edge which I will start tomorrow.
Not pictured is the start of the lens fitting for the position lights. I first cut the supplied one piece plexii in half and then ut off the lip around the bottom. I now have two over sized plexi covers that will need to be trimmed down slowwly to fit. Fun!
