Brief Description: Riveted trim tab servo brackets/installed servo
Tonight I set the 6 rivets that hold the two servo brackets on and also measured and cut the stainless steel all-thread. After that there wasn’t anything left but to mount the servo to the brackets and test the thing out. Using a 9 volt battery as a (test) power source I was able to see the trim tab actuation up and down. I’m not going to lie – it was pretty cool seeing that trim tab going up and down. I was envisioning using the trim to maintain level after climbing to 10,000 feet…although I held off from making any airplane noises…
