With the measurement drama over, I installed the brake calipers, torqued them to 90"/lbs, and cleaned up the mess in the shop. From there, it was back to the wheel pant jig. I marked the center of both of the vertical ends. I drilled holes at 6" and 10" from the top side of the horizontal base and then, using a jig saw, cut a slot in the center of each side that the 3/16" centering pins will sit in.
