Brief Description: Completed Preoiling Engine Except for Galleys
With Randy Brooks' help, more oil was pumped into the oil cooler until it was topped off. We then pumped oil into the oil line that had been disconnected. The oil line was then installed onto the oil cooler, tightened and had torque seal applied to the fitting.
We attempted to unscrew the nuts out of the galleys, but the Allen wrench was beginning to twist. Not having done this before, we stopped and waited for George Gilby to stop by and provide expert assistance. The galleys are the only items left to be oiled in the engine now.
The fuel line fittings in the cockpit were tightened and then checked again. All fittings had torque seal applied to them. All oil fittings were checked for tightness and then had torque seal applied to them.
