Brief Description: Roll Servo Control Rod Bolted to Control Stick
The bolt connecting the push-pull tube to the left control stick had the 5705-xx-xx washers applied on each side of the rod bearing. A thin washer was also installed on the bolt. I glued the thin washer to a 5705 washer so that it would be easier to place on the bolt. The bolt also will have the roll servo control rod attached to it. The servo control rod has to be kept 0.6" from the rod bearing on the push-pull tube, so a spacer was placed on the bolt. A large AN970-3 washer and then another 5705 washer was placed on the bolt. The rod end bearing and then a 5705 as well as a 970-3 washer were then placed on the bolt. A nut was then bolted onto the bolt and torqued. Torque seal was applied. The stick was moved in all directions with no interference noted anywhere.
