Brief Description: Made up Axle Nuts and Avery Jack Kit
I drilled and riveted nutplates to the steel bracket that lies on the outside of the axle nuts. The bracket will allow an attach screw for the wheel fairing to be attached. The bracket was then screwed to the axle nut. This mod for the axle nut was part of the Avery jack kit. The Avery jack kit was put together and then used to remove the left tire off the gear leg. I borrowed a hydraulic jack from Jeff to use with the jack. I had to remove the left tire in order to install the Cleveland brake mounting flange.
