Brief Description: Sanded Underside of Canopy Fairing
The canopy fairing was removed from the canopy. The underside of the canopy was sanded with 60 grit sandpaper and the primer was removed. The fairing was sanded using the same procedure as sanding the top with the 2" cardboard roll. Small void areas were found in the center area of the underside. The voids were sanded out with sandpaper and the die grinder. The top of the center section will receive two patches and another smaller patch. The underside of the center area needs to have four areas with small patches and then a large patch. Numbers were written on the fairing which indicate the number of layers that need to be added to the particular areas.
