Brief Description: Sanded Top of Fairing with Tube
Walt Halloran showed me how to sand the top of the fairing more effectively, using a full sheet of 60 grit sandpaper wrapped around a two-inch heavy cardboard tube. He worked at the fairing at a 45 degree angle and then switched the sanding 90 degrees. He sprayed the fairing with primer and then continued to sand, taking the primer off. The remnants of the primer showed where the low spots were.
