Brief Description: Began Sanding of Top of Fairing
Reference lines were drawn for the edges of the fairing. The windshield reference line was drawn using the two-finger method. I placed two fingers on the windshield side of the fairing and looked from the cockpit out to the fairing. Lines were marked on the fairing where I could see both fingers, giving an edge of about 1 3/4". The fairing was sanded down to within 1/4" of the reference lines.
60 grit sandpaper was put on a block and I hand-sanded the top of the fairing.
