Brief Description: Applied SuperFil to Underside of Canopy Fairing
I applied SuperFil to the underside of the canopy fairing to see how the filling of the holes and sanding will work out. Other builders have reported on VAF.Net that it is much easier to sand and fills better than microballoons. We will see!
After mixing, I applied the concoction to the fairing using a popsicle stick. I did not try to get the SuperFil smooth along the fairing using a spatula, because I think that much more will need to be added before I'm done and I'm not sure how even the bottom is right now. I applied extra Superfil to the center of the fairing, because that had a lot of ridges from the duct tape, both on the sides of the center rail and the section over the center rail.
