Brief Description: Drilled Canopy Support Bracket to Frame
After ensuring clearance for the support bracket screw and taking the skide skirt off, I drilled the bracket to the frame. The holes were deburred and the bracket was bolted in place. I found a scrap piece of .032" to use as a bracket for the canopy lock. I ground off the ends of two #6 screws which will be used at the forward position on the canopy and side skirts. These screws will be used with AN364 nuts so that there will a little more clearance for the AN525 screw attaching the canopy frame to the roller weldments. I placed tape on the roll bar for the approximate position of the canopy handles. I cut out two handles that will be riveted to each side of the canopy at the aft position, to make it easier to open the canopy.
