Brief Description:  Trimmed Canopy Skirts

I looked at the location of the holes that need to be drilled thru the forward bow and the roller weldments. The weldments extend 1 1/2'' up the frame tube. The hole on each side that is drilled thru the side skirt and the canopy looks like it will interfere with the other hole thru the weldment. I am considering using AN364 nuts, which will reduce the height, as well as a shorter screw, 6R6.

I checked the trimming of the canopy side skirts for clearance when opening and closing the canopy. Each side had to be filed a bit more. They initially ground into the canopy deck. I also cut off a triangular piece of each skirt's aft bottom corner. This cutout allows each skirt to lie flat inside of the aft top skin. All areas were filed smooth.
