I was unable to slide the brass bushing onto the canopy handle, so I placed the handle in the freezer for a few hours to try to shrink it. I placed the bushing in the oven and heated it to about 300° for about twenty minutes. The bushing started to go onto the shaft, but I had to use a block of wood and a hammer to get the bushing all the way down. I finished putting finish kit hardware away. The holes for the spring in the canopy latch were drilled and the spring installed. The latch was installed on the handle, but used an AN23-11 screw instead of a -10 length. An extra 960-10 and a 960-10L washer were used to use up the extra length. I dried out the dessicant plugs using the halogen floor lamps.
