Brief Description: Started work on Instrument Shelf
I picked up the instrument shelf from Tim Conway. The ends of the shelf were bent to be attached to the outer ribs, but I found that the shelf was square. The ribs are not square, so one side of the shelf does not set next to the rib flange. I cut off a 10'' length of .167'' angle bracket. This was drilled to the outer side of the right rib and the shelf will be screwed to this angle. I drilled the shelf to the left and center ribs. I changed out the AN525-8R8 screws which attach the two terminal strips to the subpanel with longer screws, AN525-8R10. I added an Adel clamp for the bezel lighting inverter wire to the screw holding the fuel guardian wire.
I also cut off a 3'' length of .167'' angle bracket. This was modified and drilled into position on the center rib, reinforcing the cutout area above the radio stack, It will also be riveted to the flange.
