I cut two pieces out of .063'' material 3x 5 1/4''. These two pieces will be bent into U-shaped brackets for the LightSpeed control box in the instrument panel. I made up a drawing of the instrument shelf and the brackets, which will be tig-welded. I cut two 1/16'' 5/8x5/8'' brackets 1 1/4'' long. These will be riveted to the two outer instrument panel ribs at the panel end. Nutplates will be riveted to them for screwing the panel to the ribs.
