George Gilby looked at the oil dipstick and recommended that it be removed, locktite added, and reinstalled. The dipstick was loose and the safety-wire was not tight. The dipstick was removed, locktite applied and screwed in place. I safety-wired the base again. The dipstick is very tight now.
George was able to unscrew the galley nuts. A fitting with a tube attachment at the end was screwed into one hole and a tube was attached to it. Walt watched the other hole as I squirted oil thru the tube into the galleys. After three-four ounces (?) of oil were squirted in, oil was finally coming out of the other hole. The nuts had locktite applied and then screwed in place. This completes the preoiling of the engine.
