After looking at Chris Jensen's website, I realized that I needed to install the VA-149-360-PC KIT onto the carb. This will hold the throttle and mixture cables. I took the carb off and installed the bracket and the additional gasket, then the original gasket and the carb. I clamped the top skin to the firewall every few inches in preparation of drilling holes. I attempted to drill a hole and forgot about the stainless firewall. I decided to take the top skin off, drill pilot holes in it and then cleco it back in place. This should allow easier drilling thru the firewall. I applied torque seal to the nuts and fittings firewall forward that have been tightened.
