#40 pilot holes were drilled in the carb heat box for attaching the deck with sheet metal screws. The deck was positioned on the box and the pilot holes were extended to the deck. The holes on the deck were enlarged for the sheet metal screws. The carb heat inlet was positioned on the deck and its position was marked in place.
