Brief Description:  Left Wing Wires/Wing Tips Screwed in Place

I picked up some #4 internal star washers from Medina Hardware, as well as Loctite Threadlocker. The nut and star washer on one of the nav wire posts were removed. Threadlocker was applied to the post and a new star washer and nut was then screwed onto it. The wire on the second post was tightened in the same manner. Some wires were spiral-wrapped together. The right wigntip was then screwed onto it. The wire on the second post was tightened in the same manner. Some wires were spiral-wrapped together. The right wingtip was then screwed in place with stainless #4 screws, 3/8" long.

Mary helped me determine which of the two 18 ga wires run thru the left wing was the nav light power wire and which was the spare. I attached a second wire to the wing tip end of the spare wire and rung out the wires in the cockpit. The spare and nav wires were labeled. The left wing tip was screwed into place with the same screws.
