Brief Description: Cut and Riveted Aileron Torque Tubes
I took numerous measurements between the aileron bellcranks and the control sticks to verify the lengths of the torque tubes. The tubes were cut down to 58" and 58 1/4" for the left and right tubes, respectively. The cut ends were cleaned up and then pilot holes were drilled in the tube ends. The tapered ends were inserted and drilled to the tubes. The holes were deburred and then the ends were riveted to the tubes.
