Brief Description: Drilled Right Rear Spar w/Drill Guide
Having trimmed the forward right clevis, I remarked the aft side of the right clevis with a 3/16" adjustment. With Jeff Paden's assistance, I drilled the right rear clevis using the steel drill guide. I started out by holding the drill guide to the clevis and used a 1/8'' hole punch to mark the starting point of the hole to be drilled. Jeff and I clamped the steel guide to the aft side of the clevis with a C-clamp. I used a 12'' long #30 drill bit to drill the starter hole in the rear spar. After drilling this hole, we checked the alignment and then enlarged the hole using a 12'' long 3/16" bit.
