Took flap off wing to bend inboard 15" of curled leading edge. Rolled this area more so that it does not hit flap brace. Found that inboard end of flap lies below extended line from alleron trailing edge. Cut 3 1/2" strips, 14" long, out of .032" empennage trim strips. Cleaned up edges on Scotchbrite wheel. Clamped 3 strips onto inboard end of flap brace; 2 on top of each other at inboard end & 1 next to the other two. Drilled matching holes through strips. Deburred holes. Clecoed flap onto wing. The strips moved flap upward to a more proper position.
