Brief Description: Drilled Left Bottom Skin to Ribs
Drew 2 lines per rib on lnside of bottom outboard skin, per WC's instructions. Each set of lines were drawn 3/16" & 3/8" from holes. These lines give a qulck reference about rib alignment. Clamped bottom outboard skin in position. Placed plumb bob through holes at spar tips to check for alignment. Rear spar was in very good position. Lined up reference holes on both bottom skins & drilled to main spar. Drilled skin to ribs starting w/rib 11, working down & outward. Drilled rib/spar holes. Drilled skin to rear spar. Backdrilled outboard to inboard skin next to rib 8. Took inboard skin off. Deburred all holes. Drilled outboard skin to rib 8. Deburred all holes in skin. Clecoed inboard skin back on & backdrilled rib 8 to both skins. Both skins are now drilled to spars & ribs.
