Using rivet gun and bucking bar, riveted top of left aileron skin to spar. Had aileron supported in V-jig. Used hand squeezer and riveted top skin to tip ribs. Primed shims. Riveted shims into place between nose ribs and top skin so that skin is more rounded. Pop-riveted bottom skins to spar after placing crease in edge of skin along rivet line. Hand-squeezed rivets on skin and bottom of tip ribs and nose ribs. Placed CS4-4 rivets in place along centerline of leading edge of rod and tapped them w/hammer to dimple skin. Pop-riveted them in place. Filed skin where aileron brackets hit for clearance. Bolted brackets in place. Left aileron completed!
