Brief Description:  Right Aileron Completed

Pop-riveted CS4-4's onto right aileron bottom skin/spar line. Squeezed rivets along bottom side of tip and nose ribs of right aileron. Put CS4-4 pop rivets into skin and rod. Used a hammer to top the rivet stem to semi-dimple the skin. Pop-riveted these rivets into place. Bolted both aileron brackets onto right aileron and tightened. Found that outboard bracket was hitting bottom skin, so filed a 'U' in skin to relieve that. Right Aileron completed!

Used a beveled dimple die and Dave's hand squeezer to dimple left aileron spar bottom. Placed spar w/rod into left skin. Positioned tip ribs into place and riveted them to spar using hand squeezer. Clecoed top skin to spar, ready to rivet. Ran edge-bending Vise grips along bottom skin of both ailerons along spar line prior to riveting so that top edge does not pucker up after riveting. Using sketch SK-32A, precisely measured positions of each rib web along top and bottom of spar, marking each point w/a 'W.' Laid skins onto spar and marked each rib's rivet line with an 'R.' Positioned LE rib #14 on to spar, clamped in place along main rib. Using pilot holes in LE rib, and 12" #41 drill bit, drilled both ribs to spar. Then drilled all holes to size w/#30 12" bit.
