Began work on vertical stabilizer. Clecoed spar reinforcement plate to rear spar channel and then clecoed hinge brackets into position. Drilled all pilot holes full-size w/#40 bit. Marked the hinge brackets that go on the top of each position with 2 punches. (..)
Clecoed VS-601PP skin to rear spar and drilled all holes to full size/#30 bit.
Received .020" elevator and rudder skins from Van's, but they were not prepunched. Called Cynthia-Van's for RA #C6552 for return and she will place a new order for E-601PP-L & R and R-601PP skins.
