Brief Description: Bent Trim Tab Hinge for Screwing into Elevator
Using Tim Conway's suggested method, the trim tab hinge was bent around a screw held in the vise. The excess was cut off. The eyelet that was made was bent so that the hinge and eyelet will lay against the rear spar of the left elevator. A #8 screw with a washer will go thru the eyelet and the rear spar and a nut, This will hold the hinge in place by not allowing the hinge to be vibrated out.
