Brief Description:  Drilled Elevator Horns to HS Bearing

Chucked drill bushing in the drill press and used some emery cloth to reduce the OD. After this was done, I was able to slide the bushing into the bearing on the horizontal stab. I attached the right elevator and clamped it in the neutral position. A #40 drill was used to go thru the drill bushing and drilled a pilot hole in the elevator horn. I swapped elevators and drilled a pilot hole in the left elevator horn. I took the left elevator off and drilled both pilot holes up to 7/32''. I then used a 1/4'' reamer to drill both up to the proper size. Both holes are in the proper position for a 1/4'' bolt thru the bearing. I drilled a #30 pilot hole at the bottom of the right horn for the control rod attach point. Made two 1'' X 2'' 1/8'' spacers out of a bracket. I could not find the spacer material, so I cut up the bracket. Edges were cleaned up on the grinder.
