Brief Description: Rod-End Bearings into Elevators
Unwrapped the horizontal stabilizer and both elevators. Pulled remaining plastic off pieces. Found that I had not riveted the inboard bottom corner of the left horizontal stab skin. I also found that the trim cable hole in the HS rear spar is too small. I screwed in two rod-end bearings into the right elevator and inserted alignment pins, attaching the elevator to the HS. One could not be pulled out.
Ordered a bushing from McMaster-Carr for drilling the elevator horns to the VA-146. ID #40, OD 1/4''.
